ABOUT ME
Laura
Nice
I specialise in supporting individuals navigating challenges in their relationships, with particular expertise in working with the Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) community. I am especially passionate about supporting those practising Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM), as I understand the unique complexities and opportunities that arise when building relationships between two or more people. Cultivating the self-awareness required to be an open, supportive partner while maintaining healthy boundaries can be challenging, and I am here to help you explore and strengthen these skills.
My experience includes working with individuals living an ENM lifestyle across diverse cultural backgrounds, life stages, and identities. As a therapist, I approach each relationship dynamic with curiosity, recognising that it is not always the relationship structure itself that presents challenges. My focus is on understanding the specific nuances of your situation and helping you gain clarity around your own contributions to the relationship, while also supporting you in defining and advocating for your personal needs and boundaries.
In my work, I have found that interpersonal relationship issues often intersect with deeper themes, such as patterns of relating formed in childhood, feelings of anxiety or overwhelm, identity exploration, or a sense of being stuck. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore these interconnected areas together and work toward positive change.
While I bring experience to this field, my priority is to support you in a way that feels comfortable, collaborative, and empowering. I deeply respect the uniqueness of every individual and their experiences. Rather than making assumptions, I focus on listening to you, uncovering patterns, developing insights, and creating strategies that promote healing, growth, and connection. My goal is to foster a warm, compassionate environment where you feel truly heard and understood.
